Retractable Dock Door Shelter is for warehouse loading docks. When lorry or truck draw back near the loading dock, the retractable Loading Dock Shelters can enclose the truck container for sealing. During loading process, it can prevent dust entering room through the door area and keep clean inside warehouse. Retractable dock shelter consists of top flap curtain and two sides flap curtain, which can touch container flexible and retract when truck pulling back simultaneously. You no need worry trucks will damage Loading Dock Shelters. 
In warehouse, loading dock doors are normally in similar size, around 2.5m wide and 3.0m high. For retractable Dock Door Shelter, the outer size is also very similar. We suggest several standard outer sizes which can fit for most projects.1. Wide 3.4m, High 3.4m: mostly used, fit for regular 20/40 containers and small trucks;   2. Wide 3.4m, High 3.6m: fit for regular 20/40 foot containers and high containers; 3. Wide 3.6m, High 3.8m: fit for big size customized containers like large cold chain truck.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 
Dock shelters & Seals are used for seal between warehouse and truck containers when loading. Inflatable Dock Shelter is the most high end premium type, with excellent thermal insulation, airtight sealing and ability to suit various truck sizes. It is made from nylon airbag and PU sandwich panel frame.  When loading or unloading going on, its top and side airbags will inflate to embrace containers tightly.  It can prevent exterior air and dust entering the warehouse during the loading and unloading job.  And with thick airbags, it will also reduce heat loss and keep cold inside warehouse. 
If your warehouse has high clean level, or temperature control like cold rooms, inflatable loading dock shelter will be the best choice for you.It is the most advanced and most high-end Dock Seal. 
Fit for various container sizes: Adopt the PVC fabric material as the airbag. When working, the motorized air pump motor blow air into the joined air bags, to fill the space between door and truck containers. It can work for trucks with various container sizes.
High airtight and thermal insulated:  Inflatable dock shelter adapts accurately to various size of lorry or containers. It offers excellent sealing performance and prevents outdoor heat entering warehouse. Thus it is fit for areas with very high demand for thermal insulation and air-tightness, like food and pharmaceutical warehouses.

Other types of loading Dock Shelter & Seal may suit your warehouse better:

Type No.1. Mechanical Dock Shelter or Seal (suitable for different truck sizes, mostly used type)
When truck pull back towards the mechanical dock seal, its fabric and framework will be able to retract backward flexibly. No matter the container is bigger or smaller, the pvc curtains can cover it properly.  It enclose the truck containers and prevent exterior air and dust entering the warehouse during the loading and unloading job. So such mechanical dock shelters can work with different trucks of various sizes. It is the mostly used type Loading Dock Shelters in warehouses. 

Type No.2. Thermal Insulated Dock Seal (Insulated model, for uniform size truck or container)
If your loading bay doors and trucks are all in uniform size, or your warehouse is cold rooms with thermal insulation requirement, such fixed pad dock seal is the best choice. Fit for loading docks working with uniform trucks with containers of same or similar sizes. It can realize effective seal and thermal insulation.
1.The back structure is made from galvanized steel plate or anti-corrosive solid wood, touching with the wall closely. Inside is filled with highly compressed sponge, with density of 30KG/m³. Special pressure-relief design can reduce the friction with dock and trucks. This will prolong work life of surface fabric.2.Surface fabric - Made from PVC fabric with self-extinguishing function. Weight: 800g/㎡. There are fabric shutter folds on top beam and two side columns. Thus it can endure long-time friction and squeezing.

INTRODUCTION 

Dock leveler is special equipment installed on the platform, buildings, lapped in the truck compartment to adjust the height difference between the platform and the floor and the car. The bridge plate can be tilted up and down, and its outer end can be higher or lower than the plane of the cargo bed to make it equal to the carriage. The front end of the bridge has a flap that automatically rides on the edge of the compartment to make a smooth transition between the leveler and the car.
